Here are Lauren’s answers from her brief ‘5 Questions’ interview during our Agent Spotlight:

Real Estate is a fascinating profession, where, as an executive in the industry, I have the opportunity to work with agents, buyers and sellers every single day. Real Estate is the essence of the American dream….assisting home sellers and home buyers with their largest purchase perhaps in their lifetime so that they achieve everlasting memories

Our market goes up and goes down. The challenge is staying grounded and focusing on what you can control. The industry has changed since I started in the business over 20 years ago. While a lot has changed, the crux of what we do has not.

Since I work with agents, my advice to them is to really focus on time management. We are an industry that can pull you in different directions every single day. Have a game plan for the day and the week and you will see success in the business. I think it's important for agents to know that every day I wake up, my goal is to help them be the best agents they possibly can be.

Working with all of the people I get to work with. The real estate profession is very hands-on and I appreciate that component of the business and getting to interact with so many people throughout the day. I also enjoy figuring out what we can do make a business more efficient and profitable through the new tools and tech that we implement

As a COO, I am more hands on than most. I understand the industry from being an agent and thus can empathize with agents, staff, buyers and sellers. I appreciate the opportunity to work with so many individuals and my goal is to do what I can to build the most successful company possible.
